SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK POLİTİKAMIZ
Mersin Otoyolu Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (MOİ) olarak, Çeşmeli – Kızkalesi Otoyolu Projesi (CKH)’nin inşaatı ve işletmesi süreçleri boyunca sürdürülebilirlik ilkelerini benimseyerek çevresel, sosyal ve ekonomik etkileri dengeli bir şekilde yönetmeyi taahhüt ediyoruz. Bu doğrultuda:
- Proje’nin inşaatı ve işletme süreçlerinde ilgili yerel ve uluslararası mevzuata tam uyum sağlamak, etik iş ilkelerine ve kurumsal yönetişim prensiplerine bağlı hareket etmek,
- Faaliyetlerimizi Birleşmiş Milletler Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçlarını dikkate alarak planlamak ve uygulamak,
- Proje’nin inşaatı ve işletmesi kaynaklı doğrudan çevresel etkileri etkin şekilde yönetmek, biyolojik çeşitliliğin ve doğal kaynakların korunmasına yönelik önlemler almak,
- Karbon ayak izini azaltan uygulamaları hayata geçirmek, iklim değişikliğinin getirdiği riskleri dikkate alarak uzun vadeli sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri geliştirmek,
- Güvenli, sağlıklı ve insana yakışır çalışma koşulları sağlamak, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği uygulamalarını en yüksek standartlarda yürütmek, tedarik zincirimize ve paydaşlarımıza insan hakları konusundaki yaklaşımımızı aktarmak,
- Proje kapsamında enerji verimli teknolojileri ve uygulamaları benimsemek, yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarını ve akıllı ulaşım sistemlerini teşvik etmek,
- Sürdürülebilir ve çevre dostu otoyol çözümlerini geliştirmek amacıyla Ar-Ge ve inovasyon odaklı iş geliştirme yaklaşımını takip etmek,
- Proje güzergâhındaki yerel toplulukları desteklemek, bölgesel kalkınmaya katkı sağlayacak projelere öncelik vermek,
- Paydaşlarımızın beklentilerini dikkate alarak şeffaf bir iletişim sağlamak ve uzun vadeli iş birlikleri geliştirmek,
- CKH Projesi’nin bulunduğu bölgelerde sosyal sorumluluk projeleri geliştirerek toplumsal faydayı artırmak, eğitim, kültür, çevre koruma ve sosyal kalkınma alanlarında sürdürülebilir projelere destek vermek,
- Tedarik süreçlerimizde sürdürülebilirlik prensiplerini esas almak, tedarik zinciri politikamız doğrultusunda sorumlu satın alma süreçleri oluşturmak,
- Üye olunan iş birlikleri ve insiyatifler doğrultusunda sektörel sürdürülebilirlik uygulamalarını desteklemek.
MOİ olarak, Proje kapsamında sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı destekleyen uygulamaları hayata geçirmeye ve sürekli iyileştirme anlayışıyla politikamızı güncellemeye devam edeceğiz.
SUSTAINABILITY POLICY
As Mersin Otoyolu Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (MOİ), we are committed to manage the environmental, social and economic impacts in a balanced manner by adopting sustainability principles throughout the construction and operation processes of Çeşmeli – Kızkalesi Motorway Project (CKH). In this respect:
- To ensure full compliance with the relevant local and international legislation during the construction and operation processes of the Project, and to act in accordance with ethical business principles and corporate governance principles,
- To plan and implement our activities by taking into account the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,
- Effectively manage the direct environmental impacts arising from the construction and operation of the Project and take measures to protect biodiversity and natural resources,
- Implementing practices that reduce carbon footprint, developing long-term sustainability strategies by taking into account the risks brought by climate change,
- To provide safe, healthy and decent working conditions, to carry out occupational health and safety practices at the highest standards, to convey our approach to human rights to our supply chain and stakeholders,
- Adopt energy efficient technologies and practices, promote renewable energy sources and smart transport systems within the scope of the project,
- To follow a business development approach focused on R&D and innovation in order to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly motorway solutions,
- Supporting local communities along the project route, prioritising projects that will contribute to regional development,
- To ensure transparent communication and develop long-term collaborations by taking into account the expectations of our stakeholders,
- To increase social benefit by developing social responsibility projects in the regions where the CKH Project is located, and to support sustainable projects in the fields of education, culture, environmental protection and social development,
- To take sustainability principles as a basis in our procurement processes, to establish responsible purchasing processes in line with our supply chain policy,
- To support sectoral sustainability practices in line with the collaborations and initiatives of which we are a member.
As MOİ, we will continue to implement practices that support sustainable development within the scope of the Project and update our policy with a continuous improvement approach.
