ÇEVRE  POLİTİKAMIZ

Mersin Otoyolu Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (MOİ) bu politika ile;

• Çevre ilgili yükümlü olduğumuz tüm yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası kanun ve yönetmeliklere tam uyum sağlamayı,
• Faaliyet gösterdiğimiz iş kollarında, doğrudan ve dolaylı olarak etkileşim içinde olduğu kişi, kurum ve kuruluşların çevre bilincini artırmayı, yerel ve bölgesel komşularına karşı çevresel sorumluluklarını yerine getirmeyi görev kabul edip, çevrenin ve doğal kaynakların etkin kullanımını esas alan sistemler oluşturmak ve sürekliliğini sağlamayı,
• Faaliyetlerimizden kaynaklanabilecek çevre üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri önlemeyi, mevcut en iyi teknolojilere dayalı etkin çözümler ile hava, su, toprak kirliliğini, gürültüyü azaltmayı ve bu konuda öncü olmayı,
• Tasarım aşamasından itibaren tüm süreçleri oluştururken atıkların kaynakta minimize edilmesini ve oluşan atıklarımızın geri dönüşümünü sağlamayı ve çevresel etkileri azaltmayı,
• Çevrenin Korunması, Enerji Verimliliği ve Doğal Kaynak kullanımının azaltılması için gerekli insan, teknoloji, altyapı, finans vb. kaynakları sağlamak, tedbirler almak ve her yıl hedefler koyarak sürdürülebilir gelişme sağlamayı,
• Faaliyetlerimiz sırasında meydana gelebilecek herhangi bir kaza ve acil durumda çevresel zararları en az düzeye indirecek tedbirler planlamak ve uygulamalar yapmak. Bölgemizde ve komşularımızda oluşabilecek çevresel kazalarda zararı en aza indirmek üzere destek sağlamayı,
• Sürdürülebilir kalkınma ilkesini destekleyecek faaliyetlerde bulunmayı, iklim değişikliğinin etkilerinin azaltılması, biyoçeşitlilik gibi gelecek kuşakları etkileyecek konularda risk ve fırsatlara önem vermeyi, ekosistemi korumayı,
• Çevre bilincini arttırmak ve bireysel sorumluluk kazandırmak için çalışanlara, alt yüklenicilere eğitimler vermeyi ve politikamız ile ilgili farkındalıklarını sağlamayı,
• Ulusal ve yerel resmi kuruluşlar, diğer sanayi kuruluşları ve tedarikçiler ile işbirliği sağlayarak, çevre standartlarımızın birlikte yükseltilmesine çalışmayı,
• Çevre performansımızı artırmak için her türlü çevresel bilgi ve veriye ulaşımı sağlayan Çevre Yönetim Sistemimizi sürekli iyileştirmeyi ve geliştirmeyi taahhüt ederiz.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Through this policy,Mersin Otoyolu Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (MOI) commits to;

•  Fully comply with all local, national and international laws and regulations regarding the environment that we are obliged to,

•  İncrease the environmental awareness of individuals, institutions and organizations that we interact with directly and indirectly in the business lines in which we operate, to fulfill our environmental responsibilities towards our local and regional neighbors, and to create and ensure their continuity of systems based on the effective use of the environment and natural resources,

•  Prevent the negative impacts that may arise from our activities on the environment, to reduce air, water and soil pollution, noise with effective solutions based on the best available technologies and to be a pioneer in this regard,

•  Minimize waste at the source while creating all processes from the design stage and to ensure the recycling of our wastes and to reduce environmental impacts,

•  Provide the necessary human, technological, infrastructure, financial etc. resources for the Protection of the Environment, Energy Efficiency and the reduction of the use of Natural Resources, to take measures and to achieve sustainable development by setting targets every year,

•  Plan and implement measures that will minimize environmental damages in case of any accident or emergency that may occur during our activities. We undertake to provide support to minimize the damage in environmental accidents that may occur in our region and neighbors,

• Carry out activities that support the principle of sustainable development, to give importance to risks and opportunities in issues that will affect future generations such as reducing the effects of climate change and biodiversity, and to protect the ecosystem,

• Provide training to employees and subcontractors in order to increase environmental awareness and to gain individual responsibility, and to ensure their awareness about our policy,

• Work to increase our environmental standards together by cooperating with national and local official institutions, other industrial organizations and suppliers,

• Continuously improve and develop our Environmental Management System, which provides access to all kinds of environmental information and data in order to increase our environmental performance.
